Trauma Informed Emotional Support for Children Affected by Domestic Abuse in Cambridgeshire.

Embrace CSoC provides vital emotional help to children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse, which can have a significant and long-lasting effect on young people.

This service recognises the importance of early intervention in helping to reduce trauma and promote healing by offering emotional support and counselling, delivering up to 10 sessions for children and young people aged 7 to 18 years.

The support is designed to help young people understand and process their experiences, build emotional resilience and improve wellbeing.

All referrals received by the service are carefully triaged to assess suitability, helping to ensure that children receive the right level of support at the right time.

Referrals can be made by professionals including social workers, Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) and the police through our website.

Please ensure you have gained parental consent to refer prior to making a referral to us for support.
