Embrace Child Survivors of Crime provides specialist remote emotional support and counselling for young people, aged 11 and above, affected by crime, helping them process trauma, make sense of their experiences, and begin to rebuild confidence and self-esteem.
Through a safe, supportive environment, young people are given the space to talk, be heard, and develop healthy coping strategies. Support is available nationally and can include tailored interventions such as CBT to meet individual needs and support recovery.
Who is eligible for the service?
Trauma Informed support is available for any child or young person aged 11–18 who has been impacted by serious crime and needs help to heal and recover. This support can be accessed regardless of whether the incident has been reported to the police.
Please note that support is primarily delivered remotely via online platforms, subject to availability and suitability. We are not a crisis service. All referrals are carefully triaged to ensure that the support we provide is appropriate to the young person’s level of need.

Can you help young survivors of crime to heal from their trauma?
In order to grow our service to meet increasing demand, we’re looking for therapists who specialise in young people and families to work with our clients.
If you are a trained therapist and either registered or affiliated to one of the recognised professional bodies in the UK and have a valid vetting certificate in place, we’d like to hear from you.
Please send an email to support@embracecsoc.org.uk explaining how you think you can support young survivors of crime, outlining your experience and including your contact details.
