Martin has been Sky News’ Crime Correspondent since 1989, building a distinguished career covering some of the most high-profile criminal cases in the UK and beyond, including the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and the crimes of Fred and Rose West. Over more than three decades, he has broken major stories and provided clear, authoritative insight into the realities of crime and its impact on individuals and communities. Known for his integrity, investigative skill, and trusted network of contacts, he is widely respected as one of Britain’s leading voices in crime journalism.

As an ambassador for Embrace, Martin brings both his expertise and a strong commitment to raising awareness of the lasting impact crime has on children and young people, helping ensure their stories are heard and their needs are not overlooked.

One of the UK’s most respected broadcast journalists, Helen has enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career across the BBC, Sky News, ITV, The One Show, GMTV and Channel 5. She has covered major global stories and high-profile criminal cases, including the O.J. Simpson trial, the Fred and Rose West investigation, Stephen Lawrence and Madeleine McCann, bringing clarity and compassion to complex and often distressing events. Alongside her journalism, Helen is also an accomplished presenter and voiceover artist, known for her warm, engaging style.

As an ambassador for Embrace, she brings a strong commitment to raising awareness of the impact of crime on children and young people, helping ensure their experiences are recognised and their voices are heard.

SOPHIE WINDSOR

Sophie is a Cambridge-educated actress fighting the digitalisation of today’s children. Her writing on this subject has been published in the Telegraph, The Times, The Spectator, Unherd and Politics Home. Sophie regularly speaks at Parliament events and counts Jonathan Haidt, Katharine Birbalsingh and Dr Rangan Chatterjee as close working allies.

She is a patron of several charities including School-Home Support, The Children’s Surgery Foundation and Close Screens Open Minds. She is delighted to join Embrace as a passionate new ambassador.
